## What a WattNode does

WattNode is a distributed compute network. Node operators download the WattNode software, stake WATT, and complete compute and web scraping jobs for the network. Operators earn 70% of the WATT paid per job.

WattNode operators stake 10,000 WATT to execute distributed web scraping and compute jobs, earning 70% of the WATT paid per job plus Bronze, Silver (+5%) and Gold (+15%) reliability bonuses.

## Reliability tiers

- Bronze: the base reliability tier.
- Silver: +5% bonus on payouts.
- Gold: +15% bonus on payouts.
